Expert Local Guides

Your trek is led by a full-time Trekking Specialist employed by Himalayan Wonders Adventure Pvt. Ltd. Your porters and drivers are employed by the same company, so one team looks after you from airport pickup to your return to Kathmandu. On average, our guides have more than 8 years of experience in the Himalayas. They are licensed and certified by Nepal’s tourism authority and speak fluent English. Many were born in Lukla and the surrounding Solukhumbu villages, with close ties to the Sherpa community and the teahouses along the trail.

Guides Trained in Wilderness First Aid

Our guides hold Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification, and they have completed training in altitude acclimatization and emergency management. This training helps them recognize the early signs of altitude illness and act quickly.

Safety Comes First

Every guide carries a pulse oximeter and checks your blood oxygen saturation each day on the trek. Together with a steady, gradual itinerary, this helps your guide make careful decisions about your health at altitude.

Quality Teahouses on Every Trek

We select the teahouses on each route ourselves. Because Himalayan Wonders Adventure Pvt. Ltd. leads many treks every season, our guests receive priority for the best available rooms and meals.

Lukla Flights Booked Early

As soon as your deposit and passport details reach us, the Kathmandu logistics team books your flight to Lukla or Pokhara. We aim for the first flight of the day, when the weather is usually most stable, to reduce the risk of delays.

Quality Kathmandu Accommodation

Most packages include two nights at Hotel The Address Kathmandu, in Thamel. The hotel is close to gear shops, markets and restaurants, and our Kathmandu office is across the street.

Transparent Pricing

Your trek price covers the essentials: permits, accommodation and transport as listed in your package. Personal expenses, extra snacks, tips and visas are not included. Our Terms & Conditions list the expected extra costs, so there are no surprise charges in Kathmandu.

A Fully Licensed Operator in Nepal

Himalayan Wonders Adventure Pvt. Ltd. is a licensed Nepal company with its own office in Kathmandu. It operates treks under its own name and carries the legal responsibility for your trek. You are welcome to visit the office.
