See two base camps in one trek. This 15-day Everest Base Camp and Ama Dablam Base Camp trek follows the classic Khumbu trail from Lukla through Namche Bazaar and Tengboche, then branches off at Pangboche to the foot of Ama Dablam (6,812m), often called the "Matterhorn of the Himalayas." The side trip to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,570m) rewards you with close views of its soaring ridges, a quieter alternative to the busier main trail.
You then continue to Dingboche and Lobuche, reach Everest Base Camp (5,364m) beside the Khumbu Glacier, and climb Kala Patthar (5,545m) for sunrise over Everest. Along the way you pass Sherpa villages, ancient monasteries and rhododendron forests, with rest days at Namche and Dingboche for acclimatization. It?s an ideal choice for trekkers who want more than the standard route, with culture, scenery and two Himalayan landmarks in one journey.
