Pokhara is the trekkers gateway to the Annapurna Region. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m) and Manaslu (8156m) are within 30km (aerial distance). It's a popular launching point for treks to the Annapurna Sanctuary, Poon Hill, the Annapurna Circuit and several others. It's easy to spend a few days here enjoying the pleasant lakes, great views and the many cafes and restaurants.
