Gokyo Lakes trek cost: package prices in rupees and USD

3 min readUpdated 24 Oct 2026By the Base Camp Hikes trek team

Our Gokyo Lakes packages are priced in rupees for Indian travellers and in US dollars for other nationalities. The prices are below, with what to budget on top.

Package prices

Travelling solo

If you travel solo or want a room to yourself, a single-room supplement applies to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes, 17 days. Ask us for the amount for your dates.

How the price compares with similar treks

These packages sit closest in price to Gokyo Lakes, so you can weigh length, difficulty and cost side by side. Prices are per person and the price you pay depends on the group, the season and your dates.

What the price covers

Each package page lists the guide, permits, transport, accommodation and meals day by day. Your written quote is the final word on inclusions, so ask us to confirm anything you are unsure about before you pay.

What you pay separately

  • Travel to the start of the trek, such as your flight to Kathmandu.
  • Travel insurance with high altitude and helicopter evacuation cover. It is mandatory for our treks.
  • Tips for your guide and porter.
  • Personal spending: drinks, snacks, showers, charging and Wi-Fi.
  • Rental or purchase of gear you do not bring.
  • Extra nights if the plan changes because of weather or flights.

How payment works

A deposit is paid in advance by bank transfer or online card payment. The balance is paid at our Kathmandu office on arrival. Full terms, including card fees and refunds, are on our booking terms page.

Does the price change?

These are standard package prices. Group size, season, lodge standard and add-ons can change them, and we confirm the final price in writing for your dates. See Gokyo Lakes trek cost and what is included for what moves the price.
